Officials confirmed that the problem began in the east coast of the America at AWS, a unit that supplies crucial web infrastructure for numerous companies, who utilize capacity on the company's servers. Soon after midnight (PDT) in the America (8am BST), officials reported “increased error rates and delays” for AWS services in a zone on the eastern US of the United States. The outage tracker Thousand Eyes, a service that reports on internet outages, further indicated a rise in problems on the start of the week, and numerous instances located in the state of Virginia, the location of the AWS US-East-1 zone where officials confirmed the issues originated.
